Advantages of hydraulic transmission
(1) compared with mechanical devices, it is easy to operate, labor-saving, and has a large degree of freedom in system structure space. It is easy to realize automation, and stepless speed regulation can be realized in a large range. With a large transmission ratio, it is easy to realize complex program movement and remote control.
(2) hydraulic transmission has the advantages of uniform and stable transmission, fast reaction speed, small impact, and high speed starting, braking and reversing;
(3) easy to realize overload protection;
(4) the high degree of standardization, serialization and generalization of hydraulic control components is conducive to shortening the design and manufacturing cycle of the machine and reducing the manufacturing cost.
The main disadvantages are:
(1) the transmission ratio cannot be strictly guaranteed due to the leakage and compressibility of the medium;
(2) low transmission efficiency due to pressure loss and leakage in the process of energy transmission;
(3) the hydraulic device cannot work at high temperature;
(4) the manufacturing precision of hydraulic control components is high and it is difficult to diagnose the faults in the working process of the system.
